Rz. Atractylodis Cang Zhu 12-15g Strongly dries Dampness and tonifies the Spleen.
With Hou Po, for Dampness obstructing Spleen Yang with epigastric fullness, abdominal and epigastric distention, nausea, vomiting, anorexia, loss of taste and a thick, greasy tongue coat.
Cx. Magnoliae Officinalis Hou Po 9-12g Promotes the movement of Qi in the Middle Jiao, resolves Stagnation, descends Rebellious Qi, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Fu Ling, for Phlegm Obstructing the Qi, leading to coughing, vomiting or a sense of something stuck in the throat.
With Cang Zhu and Chen Pi, for Dampness Accumulation with Qi Stagnation including epigastric fullness and distention, acid regurgitation, distasteful belching, nausea and vomiting
Rz. Pinelliae Pre4paratum Zhi Ban Xia 9-12g Dries Dampness, transforms Phlegm, descends Rebellious Qi, stops vomiting and reduces Stagnation.
With Chen Pi, for a productive cough and a stifling sensation in the chest due to Phlegm-Damp Obstruction or Spleen Qi Deficiency.
With Fu Ling, expels Phlegm and stops nausea and vomiting, hiccups, coughs with clear, profuse Phlegm and loose, watery stools.
With Hou Po, for Phlegm-Dampness with Qi Stagnation.
Per. Citri Reticulatae Chen Pi 9-12g Regulates Qi, adjusts the Middle, relieves the diaphragm, Descends Qi, dries Dampness and transforms Phlegm.
With Zhi Ban Xia, Fu Ling and Hou Po, enhances the Phlegm transforming and Spleen strengthening properties of the formula.
With Cang Zhi and Fu Ling, for a thick white tongue coat with no desire to drink.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Fu Ling, for a cough due to accumulation of Dampness and Phlegm.
Poria Fu Ling 12-15g Promotes urination, leaches out Dampness, strengthens the Spleen and harmonizes the Middle Jiao.
With Zhi Ban Xia and Chen Pi, for nausea, vomiting, chest fullness and distention and anorexia due to congested fluids.
Rx. Glycyrrhizae Gan Cao 3-6g Tonifies the Spleen, augments Qi, moderates and harmonizes the harsh properties of other herbs and guides the herbs to all twelve channels.
